Are you handy with a multi-meter? The schematic and terminal numbers are your map. These can easily be tested, rather than swappings hoping to get lucky. If the diode between 85 and 86 goes bad (easily replaced), things may get wonky. The only items inside is a coil of wire, a set of contacts and a diode.

If the motor works in one direction....it basically works, so the issue is ahead of the motor. The switch reverses the 2 wires on the motor
