No offense to people in Ontario, lived in Toronto and liked it in summer. But cant stand colder weather with lots of snow, etcetera. Anyway knew this years annual meet was in Toronto and thought good vacation excuse. Checked the dates. "March 10, 2010: Toronto Annual Meet:" If Canada had its own club, we'd surely pick another date and better time of year. Jeremy Clarkson is right about Americans! Winter like weather and our cars really don't mix. So why would they (RROC) chose dates that could likely snow, etcetera? Think Canada should have its own club or maybe we should help the Americans out a little more. If I travel on vacation, want and expect warm short and T-shirt weather. Not freakin cold!

Though its pretty nice weather here right now. Fourteen today in North Bay. Spectacular for this time of year.

Probably still not as nice as Vancouver though.

Even Vancouver not right time of year. Its gray and raining. End of June would work either place, actually Ontario would be perfect then.

Is there a bit of confusion here? The RROC Annual Meet is in Markham, ON from JULY 19 to JULY 24, 2010.

My bad read the press release date on their website: "March 10, 2010: Toronto Annual Meet:"

Markham is basically Toronto. I'm also increasingly anti-American watching Pelosi, Reid and Obama spouting on about socialist health--care. Lastly Ontario is still a bad place to hold anything because two far to drive and I do not fly unless private!

Further information for others:
You can download the 28 page pdf of the Meet Book from the RROC site (www.rroc.org). Go to the February 22 Latest News entry for a 'clickable' icon.
Actually, Ontario is a good place to hold the Meet, it is only about 120 km from my home. It is all relative. :)

I'm planning on flying up there for the meet from Atlanta, and the weather is one of the things I look forward to the most! Average low/hi temps in Toronto then is 60ºF to 80ºF, versus a miserable 80ºF to 100ºF here... :(

Before everybody starts flying in, or preferably motoring, please note that one has to be a member of the RROC to partake of the activities. There is plenty of time for enthusiastic non-members to become members in time for the Meet.
