Hello to all:

I saw a '57 Cloud I advertised for which the owner listed the chassis number as LSDD388. According to all of the published records, there is no such number for Clouds - SDD388, yes, LSDD388, no way.

The owner says he is reading directly from the official plate on the firewall. He is out of state so I cannot see it for myself but I assume he knows how to read.

Anyone have any ideas about that "L" in the front of the chassis number?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The L at the beginning of the chassis number signifies a LEFT hand drive. Right hand drives do not have this indicator.
