Hi to you all
My turbo RT 1997 after sitting for a while I put a battery on it and know it has lost the Mileage!!!
The trip still works and if you try to change it from trip to mileage it just goes blank
Any ideas would be grate

yes and nuthing so i have a very low miles on my car

You are lucky. When I changed my battery the mileage did not change
and my car is always so old...

Has your car got an odometer in the speedo?

At standard settings the mileage does not show on the dip panel, just in the speedometer.

If you have changed the dip settings you may have turned it off.

No it has it at the top of the centre idiot light cluster that separates Speedo and rev counter

odometers in the speedo are for Bent/RR 1996 models and forward :wink:

its probably to late and you have sorted it out but there are settings in the dip unit to turn on and off the odometer its quite easy to do and i can talk you through it., some models display it and some dont, it sounds like your unit as some how altered this setting its rare but it does happen.

i had a look to day seems OK but i ether get a lead made up so i can check the Fault Codes or take it to Exeter
what will you charge to make a lead up ? it is the round one ???

do you mean the round plug used in conjunction with the bentley scan tool. i could make you one up but i would need an origional one to copy. you can get the lead ends from RS. i have made one or two in the past for garages that run over the leads. Off course you will still need the Scan tool.
