I have a 1988 Silver Spirt Rolls Royce.

Whenever I go over 40 mph I get a tapping noise near my feet under the dash board put on the floor where that bump is between the passanger and me.

I only hear it when I give is gas when I let off the gas it stops and again returun when I give it gas again.

Is there a additional fuel sending unit there that could be doing it.

Is is a tramsmission problem.

I was told by a shade tree mechanix is was because I was not using high premium gas but it does not sound like it is coming from the motor.

I can shot a short video of it and send it to you if you would like.

Any replay at all would be very much appreicated.

A local mechanisc told me to put fuel additive in it and I did that and the tapping is gone.

Either it was a fluke or that was the problem.

Again is was a tapping not a clanking from the motor.
