Car starts and runs as normal, temperature gauge stays cold for at least 10 mins before reaching its steady temp of about 1/3rd of the way up when moving along steadily. Up to about 40-50% of the way up when stuck in traffic for a long time. Is it normal in other owners experience?
How long does your car take to warm to normal operating temp, and where on the gauge do you find that is?
Didn’t own the car in summer so only cold weather experience, thanks!

Sounds entirely normal to me.

The temperature gauges on these cars are real gauges and show swings during normal use. Your temperature will top out slightly higher in the warm months than in the cold, and will show definite spikes up in stop-and-go traffic with the air conditioning on.

I don't know what vintage of Silver Spirit you own, but if the temperature gauge shows a "white range" that's what's within normal limits.
