Spent some time looking at 1970s Corniches last year. It became apparent from driving them and talking to vendors that the suspension was tightened up progressively through the 70's on the Corniche. Certainly the early 1968 car we looked at was much softer than the '72 we saw and the '77 Corniche that my friend finally bought.

Currently looking at Shadows for myself. Question - was the Shadow I suspension tightened up progressively like the Corniche. Are the 1970s Shadows taughter than the 60s ones :?: :?:

Yes,

But you can fit some later suspension parts or even better , a Harvey Bailey Suspension kit. Transforms the cars :) .

Rack and pinion steering makes them much tighter on the steering.
