I used 11mm 12pt socket but it was too thick on outside thus I had to make it thinner to get better access with it to the screw head. I think you can also try imperial 7/16. Use correct torque to fix it. You can quickly go through my video and read comments in it with details.

Thanks.
I've just spent an hour looking for the right tool. Triple-square is known as XZN here, but would appear to be exceedingly rare as sockets 🤔

I've ordered some sockets, hopefully they'll work!

Does anyone know what thread size the bolts are?
I'd probably want to put new ones in, but I'm not going to pay 38€ per bolt!

Cheers

This product is great for removing rust. The powder version that you mix will water and soak overnight will leave the subject material like new. The spray on stuff is good if you can't soak the item.
I tumble clean all my hardware in media and have them cad plated. Both my RR's have all hardware and brackets re-done. Here's a small sample of the hardware

Trouble is I have to borrow a lift, so the job has to get done in an afternoon. Ordering stuff, or sending bolts off to be plated, while the car sits on the lift is not an option.

So, still looking for info on the thread size of said bolts (UG11166)!

Thanks

Hi Guys,

Finally got the discs and pads changed on Monday.
XZN sockets can't be found here, but a regular 12-sided one worked fine.
It took most of the day to do the job, but was quite enjoyable in the end.

Many thanks for the video - that helped a lot!
