Had the gear boxes replaced but it seems a little tight when I sit down even when I run the seat as far back as I can.
Comfortable but I'd like a little more room from the steering wheel.
Is this normal or do I need to look into resetting the gear boxes?
Thanks for any reply

It's not the gearboxes that are the problem, but where the seats are actually mounted to the car itself.

I am positive there are topics here, or on the Australian forums, about the extended rails and alternative mount arrangement for same to allow for further rearward travel.

Cliff,
I think there may be some restriction on the rails (or from the motors) preventing the seat from sliding completely back. In my Bentley (identical to a Spirit) I need to stretch to reach the pedals (I'm 6') when the seat is all the way back.

Thanks to both of you for your insight
Its much like I was thinking They had the seats out to replace the gear boxes and I'm thinking it didn't go back in in the right place. I guess I'll read up some more and tackle taking the seat bottom out and looking around inside.
