Really appreciate finding this thread as I am half way into this valve cover gasket replacement. Plenums are off and doing the brake seals also (previously did the fuel rail O-rings).

It is a 1997 Silver Spur (low pressure turbo), VCX59332.

Ok, that's what I thought, lucky you have no turbo intercooler because it would be much more difficult.
You should refurbish both brake pressure pumps while you are there, at least replacing seals

Yes thank you, I'll be doing both the inner piston area seal and the outer two as well. I have replacement springs for the bottom piston as I hear in some cars they have broken (although I don't know if those were Silver Shadow series - the thought being the break may be brake fluid oriented perhaps).
