Always liked Rolls Royce's, almost talked my Dad into one as a teen. From that test drive session in late 1980's wanted and finally decided to buy a Spur. I have a few other vehicles; Mercedes 500SL, three Porsche's two are 928's and a 944. An Excursion and Ranger pick up 4X4 for my yard! I also have a need (not want) for; Bentley Turbo R, Shadow, a Corniche and maybe a Cloud eventually. Yes, I want to start a collection! :)

Hi Bob, thanks for joining us. That's quite a collection you've already got going. How do you like your 928's? Have you tracked them? I have an old 944 as well, a 1988 Turbo S. Fast car... when its running.

Hi. The 928 is a better execution of a Mercedes 500SL, Porsche should have made a drop top version! The two share the same auto transmission, in fact Porsche provided V8 engine blocks to Mercedes for the 500SL. MB's though need a supercharger to get the power of a 928. The second short coming with Mercedes is they have dull handling and for a V8; you should feel the difference between a 500SL and the 300 version. But you don't really. A 944 Turbo S (have had one) is a better track car. The 928S4 version is good sleeper surprise in Woodbridge on a Friday night, mid 1990's. Had a C4 Vette owner ask if I had nitrous or a super charger installed.
