Hello all. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found you. I'm actually an MG owner, I have a '57 MGA and a '66 MGB-GT.
However, my dad has a '49 MG TC and a '48 Bentley Mark VI.
And there is the reason for my delight. The Bentley has not been run for many years, and I'd like to get it back on the road. So I will be seeking much advice and wisdom here. A Bentley engine is quite different from the little MGs. The car is due a little more respect than these little sports cars.
My dad bought the Bentley around 1968, and we had a lot fun with it, especially at the annual Bentley/Rolls-Royce picnic at the Santa Anita Race track.
But it began to overheat, and he stopped taking it out.
So now, there it sits, a bit dusty, one tire that keeps going flat, yearing for the open road.... :D

Hi there tintin and thanks for introducing yourself. You have quite an appealing collection of British historica.

We hope to get to know you better through the forum - how about posting some pictures of your collection?
