Hello from Munich!

Is this the lot of 140+ spheres that were on sale on ebay some weeks ago? If I'm wrong tell me - I'd love to learn if the following needs correction:

The ones offered are Citroen-spheres which to my knowledge are NOT compatible to the Rolls-Royce spheres as they have a different operating pressure (and a different shape well). This is at least true for my Spur....

I have spare ones in my garage - could supply for detailed photos if wanted.

Hi Jim,

Yes we originally had 158 but now just under 70 in stock.

We are selling the complete accumulator assembly which includes the sphere.

The fact that they are manufactured by Citroen is confusing. Citroen spheres made for Citroen cars are definitely not suitable.

These spheres have been manufactured by PCM/Citroen to Bentley specifications and were actually ordered by Bentley UK Head Office.

They are suitable for Bentley and Crewe-Built Rolls-Royce and supplied by UK main dealers. The part number is GMF1274 and you will find that it is suitable for all the models listed on our website where you will find detailed photos too:

http://www.goodreason.co.uk/product/bentley-rolls-royce-gmf1274-assembly-accumulator-front

This information we obtained from the Bentley Technical website so you can double-check:

http://www.bentleytechinfo.com/BY00...s/bsi_genParts_partIdentifiers_hydraulics.pdf

Please e-mail me ([email protected]) and I can reply with higher resolution photos.

Trust me, they are definitely genuine Bentley GMF1274 spare parts. We have sold many to dealers as far as Australia.

Regards,

Kam

Hello from Lyon in France,

I know very well hydrauliques citroen cars since 40 years.

The accumulator sphères are totaly compatibles with RR 1 Bentley ones because the conjoncteur-disjoncteur and the sphère who go with it are made by citroen.

I make the change on my Bentley Turbo R 1997, and if you read the french you can look at my work here ;

http://bentleyturbo.forumpersos.com...peu-technique-f2/a-propos-des-spheres-t65.htm

The rear sphères doesn't exist on the citroen part, but they are exactely citroen sphères without shock absorber inside and a low pression.

The hight corrector is a citroen part too.

Best regards

Accumulator Question?

Hello,
I could not access the reference page, but will these accumulators fit a 1976 Silver Shadow, left hand drive, USA vehicle?
Thank you so much!
