I have followed and used this thread many times and always found the answer to my questions, SO MANY THANKS TO ALL.
However not this time
When i bought the car the (p) was not on ..obivously we tested everything 3 times over and applied the parking brake a few times !
This is when The (p) light came on, i followed all advise on here, EVERYTHING WAS WORKING FINE, just 15 seconds after start up the (p) would come on and a loud beeep would ring 3 times. I bought one NEW motor, swapped one side, still the same, then i swapped the 'used motor' with the other side, still the same, removed and inspected inside the switch, bought a brand new oem switch as I read this is common fault, still the same, I have tried 'pinging' it ( holding button on and off for 15 seconds 3,,4 times .. still the same .. all working perfect can clearly hear both motors engage. but light and beep appear 15 seconds after start up .. and (p) remains ( no other warning lights are on )
