I've used Dextron VI on my GM 4-speed. That's what I found after quite some research:

The original filter and seal are of superior quality BTW.

The oil in your post was Dextron III, which is not correct for the GM 4L80-E 4-speed based on my research. I have searched for Allision C4 and GM Dextron VI compliant fluid.

Buying 20l is not wrong as you need to flush every gear. (see e.g. youtube for how-to)

Check with John Palma. Palma Classic Cars The aftermarket options are apparently not good because they shred and you need something more akin to hard plastic. He has an aftermarket supplier that he used to replace the ones on my Seraph.

Hi unfortunately seems that nobody has the dust cover in stock......will try again in a few weeks.......

The issue with the coolant loss has been solved! The cap of the second coolant tank had the seal not well installed. Did 250 km on Saturdays will no leak! What a car to drive on motorways.....really impressive........

Have all the service item at home just waiting for front spring isolators, upper and lower front ball joints and them will go to my friend mechanic. Really looking forward. #

Couple of further questions if I may before my mechanic starts working in it:

• once warm and only at slow speeds the ESP-ABS light and buzz starts flashing/beepings.....motorways nothing just in town with slow speed and seems connected to the steering wheel.....can it be a bad connection behind the dash? My garage said that he hears something from the steering rack boots once I turn the steering wheel....really strange. Silent in motor way and every second a beep once in town.....
• I have only one key for the car. Flying spares sells a master key but I imagine will need to be programmed? Any ideas and maybe costs to have a second working key? Worth it?
• Parking sensors not working: I have the initial beep when in reverse but once I get close to an obstacle it doesn't beep. Bad PDC unit or maybe just a sensor (would this make all the system not working?)? Any ideas?

Break fluid needs to be in top condition for the ESP to work. Front break lines have a new (classic) design and I believe there is a related service bulletin. I would make sure to have this done before proceeding with anything else.

AFAIK a key can only be procured at the dealer. @alabbasi is IMHO this forums expert on the alarm programming how-to.

Parking sensors may need the Arnage specific OBD tool.

Immobilizer can be programmed using a generic scan tool. The alarm will need to be programmed using the RR specific scan tool for the remote locking. Get a spare, you don't know how long they will keep making them. Some Arnage owners are SOL.

regarding spare key do you know where to find one? Intro and Flying spares don't seem to have them.....

Regarding the ESP so you suggest to change the brake fluid (which I will do hopefully next week) or also front brake lines? Not sure what you mean with " I would make sure to have this done before proceeding with anything else"

AFAIK the key can only be bought at the Bentley dealer and is not cheap.

I tried to suggest to change front brake lines and flush fluid several times, before doing any other analysis on ESP. I had to flush at least 3 times before the ESP stayed reasonably silent.

Hopefully this is a bit clearer now...

btw I called HR Owen in the UK (Bentley dealer) and they quoted 433 pounds plus VAT for a spare key not programmed.......

trying the chase previous owner considering the cost of a spare.....If I'm not wrong the car came with 3 sets of keys.....how can you lose 2 of them.............

WRT key. You can still get the 2 button blade keys from the dealer. When I bought mine, it cost around $600, It will come cut but not programmed. You'll need to take your car there if you want them to program it or any specialist who has an omitec scan tool.

Don't bother with a used one on Ebay. They're usually selling for more money and you'll have to find a new blade and get it programmed anyway.
