I may have the chance to get a gorgeous '93 Continental. Was wondering if there is any feedback here in regards to costs, weaknesses, etc on using this car as an everyday city vehicle, mixed in with some long trips?
Any advice, comments, or suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, RF.

The critical area is the service history which ideally needs to be up to date and have been carried out by dealers or specialists. With a car of this age it should have had the big hydraulic service done which costs about £4k.

When things go wrong thay can be expensive so I would recomend an independant inspection before purchase. The sills wings and the rear bumper mount are well known rust spots.

The cars themselves are brilliant. The first individual Bentley design for decades and the last model prior to VW.. They must be a future classic if they are not so considered already.
