75 Shadow: odometer not working

Greetings folks, odometer has stopped. What could be the cause?

The gears are known to fail.

I can't remember when the speedometer/odometer changed over from cable driven to electric, but if the speedometer still works I'd be inclined to suspect the plastic gears. If it doesn't, it could be the drive cable or the electrical feed (depending on which speedometer/odometer type your car has). Take a look in the spare parts manual based on your chassis number.
Speedo but no odo it's the gear, check with "gearworks" on Ebay, they should have it.
