Hello,

I have a 2006 Phantom. Everything has been great except both rear doors don’t open from inside but open perfectly from outside. Is there a button I may have pressed or setting in the dash I accidentally changed. Any one else have this issue before?

Since 1985 all cars built and delivered to the US have rear door child safety locks. Most are mechanically activated/de-activated at the door jam itself. Check the jam. What does the owner's manual say?

My car is a 2016 Ghost. There's nothing on the door jamb. It's all controlled by the window lockout switch on the driver's door just aft of the window switches. One button locks out everything.

The concept
With the safety switch, it is possible to block particular functions in the rear. This makes sense, for example, if children or animals are carried in the rear.

General information

The following functions can be locked simultaneously, using the switch:
▷ Opening and closing of the rear windows using the switches in the rear.
▷ Automatic Soft Close System.
▷ Opening the rear doors from the inside.
▷ Adjustment of the power rear seats.
▷ Adjustment of the power head restraints in the rear.
▷ Adjustment of the front passenger seat from the rear.
