Can anyone tell us what the make and model of the original radio was in the '91 Silver Spur II? Thanks.

That information should be on the build sheets, available from RROC.org or RREC.org There is a charge for these documents, but provide you with all the infor pertaining to your individual car.

Thank you Jim. I have the build sheets but all it says about the radio is: "Radio/Tape+Power Amp. - RF1". Not much to go on really.

Not sure what was a basic radio, but in the manual are mentioned additional sets (with various modifications to the wiring diagram):
  • Alpine 7284/E
  • Blaupunkt Bamberg SQR 05
  • Pioneer KEH 8150/J
  • Pioneer KEX M700/UCJ
Where: U-UK/USA, C-Canada, J-Japan, E-Europe(?!)

Thanks everyone. We have decided to go with the new and improved Blaupunkt Bamberg SQR 05. Hopefully the prior owner didn't butcher the wiring when they put in the replacement radio!
