Silver Shadow II Red Label SRH 38304
Le Mans Blue
75 Years of Rolls Royce Celebration Model
The car is called 'Ronnie' after my late father. It was one of the 75 models made to celebrate 75 years of Rolls. It had a number of additions which include a Dark Blue (special shade) Everflex roof with dyed to match blue leather and carpets with over rugs, picnic tables, rear headrests, leather headliner, knee roll and dash top (in black) insignia to front doors, Air horns & double Gold coach lines to doors and trim rings on hubcaps. So far it has been rebuilt with all new brakes, hoses, pads etc etc plus a top end re build to cure a ticking from hydraulic tappets. Next on the agenda is the wood and to have all the Garnet Red badges re finished by the orignal makers.
1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II Red Label SRH 38304 (Le Mans Blue)
All as original excepting I have powder coated valve covers and brake fluid tank plus lots of other bits.
As per standard with the exception of I had commisioned a new roll of Everflex in order to replace the original roof as I thought there was rust under the Everflex as I could see a couple of lumps, when removed I found it was only the glue which had 'balled up' in one place.....BUGGER!
Original Blaupunkt radio and Pioneer cassette deck, will be replacing the speakers however as they are getting a little old (like me)
As original with lots of new genuine parts
Wheel and Tire
As original with Avon Turbospeed tyres and thin band white walls
