When you did the valve stem seals did you find an alternative to the ridiculously priced stem seals offered from most RR spares companies, andlooks like work completed with head on?

yes agree have seen this in other cars. I wonder if the issue is with the final coat not being applied properly as the non treated colour is quite tacky to the touch

In the end up it was about removing six screws our bolts and detaching the wiring to back and base. Its not until they are out you realise how big the seats are.

Decided to remove the seats for a total makeover and re colouring.

Spoke to furniture clinic who were extremely helpful, dent them photos of seat condition.

Its not by any chance the viscous coupling acting up, Easy to check try spinning the fan to see the level of resistance, it should only spin about half a turn, then check the fan for lateral movement...

It does sound to me like the hoses are collapsing and not allowing the calipers to release, hopefully once the hose which are left to be replaced and changed and the system has a good flush through...
