    Hi Ian, apologies but I just noticed I had a private message here. I have not dealt with them for at least three years. The seat ECU's they did for me have been working fine in my client's cars but I will not use them again because of your issues. I have heard from a couple others who have had to wait months for the return of their ECU's. I will only use John Bowling now if I have seat ECU's I cannot repair. I do the batteries in them myself all the time but occasionally get some in that are really fried. I would instruct them to send them to John if they cannot get them back to you soon.     I noticed that you have worked with SBI-EE for seat ecu repaires, have you had any recent contact with them?, they currently have 2 of my seat ECU's and are not responding to emails...., I'm hoping that you have a contact number for Simon Bates...

    Part 2 I should have added this earlier. There is a number stamped on top "7291" The drier has a 3" diameter and 3/8 line in/out. Did a basic search and they can easily be sourced but I figure with your experience I can cut the chase, Thanks

    Hi Jim. Just read up about Duracool and would like to use it in my '80 Wraith. The system has a 134a adapter port which I noticed was leaking. I would like to vacuum the system and start anew with Duracool. I would like to replace the drier and would like your recommendation and source for one.

    Hi Jim, I am guessing you are Stateside? I am in the UK and the cost of sending anything over is very expensive. The headlight assys are now on my Spirit and even over here are a very rare and expensive item to find, Most of the excess items from this car I will list on Ebay for our domestic market.

    That and the fact I'm working 12 hour days in the shop everyday trying to keep up with the volume of work leaves me no time for experimenting. Hope all is well with you, Jim.

    Sorry Paul I just noticed the pm from you when logging in with the new password. Need to pay more attention to the header. That doesn't sound good at all. Probably a bit like me he doesn't want to say no and ends up getting overwhelmed with work. I haven't sent him anything for about two years now. The only problem I had was the Auto Ride test box I bought from him failed the third time I used it, dead screen. I sent it back and he repaired it no charge but it was a hassle. I have since heard of module Masters in the USA which I will probably try next time I need a unit rebuilt. I've looked into rebuilding the ECU's myself, but have hit a wall with the programming of the chips in them. I am fairly good with electronics but haven't learned enough to delve into it further. I see there are lots of chip programmers available out there cheap but it's the knowledge I lack in using them.

    Hi Jim,

    Hope things are good with you.

    Just saw your post recommending SBI.

    Have you had many units done by him or made contact with him

    His quality seems to have dropped right off and now seems to take ages.

    I don't know if it's just me being unlucky but of four he did for me early last year, 3 have failed. Well one wouldn't work the mirrors but I used it in a passager seat,

    Two others came back from customers. One from USA and he's had it for 6 weeks, the other came back on Monday and I don't fancy sending it to him because he's not answering my emails or voice messages.

    Hopefully it's just me ; (
