Head light problem Dimmed 1967 Bentl

Hallo,
I just got a problem with my Headlight, when I turn on the switch to dipped beam postion the left
dipped is illuminated correct. the right side and full beam is only glowing low. The same when I
I put the fot on the full beam switch. I get only full beam on left side and the Three is glowing.

My car is an 1967 US version equipped with an Headlight dimming system, I dont kow where the realyes
and other things is sitting. I checked all the relayes in the Control box and they are ok.

Any ideas in finding the fault (Mr Lucas invented the 'darkness')

You have a bad ground, either the prongs and plugs on the back of the headlamps are corroded or the wiring harness ground attachments near the headlamps are dirty. Clean all and that should fix the problem.

Hi beam relay is mounted on the radiator support panel, L side in front of the A/C drier. There are 2 relays, one is horn and one is high beam. There is also a ground point there that should be thoroughly cleaned.

Many electrical issues can be prevented with clean grounds.
