Good afternoon - my 81 Silver Spirit illuminates the No. 1 system light after about 30 minutes running - but after the car cools down, I have 22 pumps again on No. 1 system.

No. 2 system has a solid 30 pumps at all times and no problems.

The front spheres were renewed last year (and I have done about 500 miles since).

Any ideas welcome - thanks in advance - Colin Williams

22 pumps is not so much, it starts to be low.

It could be the spheres, if they have 9 years or more, think replacing them
Could be air in the system, bleeding brake pressure switches could help.
Could be inside the brake pressure switches, stuck, dirty....

Various things to investigate.

Brake spheres are CRUCIAL. No more gas inside = NO MORE BRAKES

You will press the brake pedal, the car will just not react and will keep on driving....

How are you driving? [And by that I mean does this occur if you're going down a flat road or only when cornering?]

There were issues with these lights coming on when cornering, and there was a fix for same.

Great Satman

Ask they replace all LHM and bleed all callipers + brake pressure switches
Hope you went to a RR/ Bentley specialist

Tell them there are 2 callipers per wheel in the front = 4 bleeders

1 callipers in the rear BUT 2 bleeders per calliper = 4 bleerders

2 brake pressure switches = 2 bleeders

Total 10 bleeders to take care about
