New member just starting to learn...

Not sure I posted my original introduction in the right place so excuse me if this is a repeat.

Back in the 80's after I graduated from school, the owner for the first firm I worked for had an 86 or 87 Camargue. I was smitten with the car and now I am in a position to start learning about them and looking for one.

Hope soak up some knowledge around here.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search. Camargues are pretty rare.

Hi......and welcome

As a Ferrari owner I am a big fan of Pininfarina styling but never thought it worked on the Carmargue with the angular back end.

To me back then it looked like a Fiat 130 had been grafted onto to the rear.

Production ran from 1975 to 1986 so quite likely some cars did not get registered till 1987. Introduced some inovating features in its day though with split side climate control now standard on any luxury car.

All the best and wish you find a nice example as quite rare

Camarque, almost bought one a few decades ago. PlUS>it's a SY drivetrain & underpinnings. NEG> less than 600 built and other than drivetrain the body panels, glass, bumpers are unique to the model and therefore second hand parts are usually non-existant.

Good luck with whatever choice you make, the Forum is here to help you!
