I've enjoyed learning from the many posts on this site. Thank you.
1926 20 hp, added overdrive.
1976 Silver Shadow. Engine out. Rebuilt, but cannot source cylinder head gaskets anywhere. Any ideas?
Thanks, Stephen.

Hi Stephen, Welcome

I had a friend years back called Stephen Leckie.

You need to try the usual suppliers Flying Spares in the Midlands and Introcar in London.

Put in your search engine 'Flying spares Rolls Royce Shadow head gasket'....it should take you straight to their catalogue page.

All the best

Steve

Update.....I see they are on back order

Stephen.

Yes, Introcar and Flying Spares sent there head gaskets to be tested and are still waiting for them to come back.
I believe a few gaskets were not up to scratch so all were sent away.

Jake.

No-one stocks them at the moment, I've tried many outlets. Talking next year now for delivery. I can have them made, but I don't need 300. 12 weeks to make.

Stephen,

I rang round a few of my contacts yesterday and for sure got the same responses.

One guy has a complete decoke set which includes head gaskets but would not even think of letting it go.

I have another RR specialist contact hopefully calling me back today (FRIDAY) so will let you know if anything comes from that.

Regards

Steve

Stephen.

Here is Introcars explanation.

I think somewhere there has been a bit of a more serious problem with head gaskets, but at least there are not supplying possibly faulty ones.

Jake.
