Hi, I have a 1984 Silver Spirit, previously owned by the novelist Wilbur Smith. The London garage he used were quite 'creative' in how they charged him. 10k for a service wasn't unusual. The folder is six inches thick.
I bought it with 12k miles and it's now on 27k in less than two years!
I assume you mean 10k GBP and just for a service. Must have been a big hydraulic and brake rebuild
As a novelist I think I would have copyrighted the 6 inches of service records to write a book on.
Occasionally some cars can just be a problem. A friend has just scrapped his Arnage due to continual electrical problems that just seemed to go on and on until eventually he had spent so much at the dealers he just sold it for breaking.
Glad you have had so many what appears trouble free miles from the car in such a short time, but how much have you spent on the car in the past. They do like to be used rather than a show piece in a garage or just doing a few miles a day to the office and back home.
