Should be back now.

I'm trying to add some modifications to optimize the site for search engines... and have to switch to standard skin just when loading it.

I don't like the location flags!

I'm British, not German. I'm in Germany, granted, but the flag makes me appear to be German, and that simply won't do!

(PS. I still get the internal server error after posting)

Yeah, the internal server error problem is driving me crazy.... and I'm driving the Help Desk at GoDaddy crazy in return!!!

Hummm, maybe I'll have to reconsider these flags. What does everybody else think?

I think as in many other forums, you should let the user choose his/her own avatar.

I run a forum, it's quite well established now on its subject, in fact I think it's the biggest on its subject, at least British based.

O.k. the flags are gone and uploading avatars is turned on. The DB should run a little quicker with the flags gone, as well.

Henry, mind if this newbie taps your expertise on running the forum? I've got a few questions.

I found the post (submit) won't go thru directly unless you briefly click on "preview" and it goes right thru...Take the link apart that ties one to the other and it will stop.

Madsm, I notice your posts always appear twice - are you getting the 500 server error every time you post?

I've been working on this this evening and have been unable to generate the error.... but I know the next time I'm making a regular post, it will likely give it to me again.
