SZ bonnet hinge pin

I was closing the bonnet on the Azure and one of the pins on the bonnet mechanism just sheared off causing the bonnet to go wonky and put a nice gauge on the grill surround. Drilled it out and fitted a stainless bolt with locknut. It amazes me that these peened over rivits can do this. I can see it's never been lubricated and I would have got round to it. But still no excuse.
I'll get it and other stuff painted in winter.

Ouch! That had to hurt. It's always the little things we don't notice that cause the most damage. I will lube mine this weekend. Thanks for pointing this out.
