Steel Blue Paint Question

I have a Cloud 111 and it is steel blue with light blue interior. I am not a huge fan of either color. The car is in desperate need of a paint job... maybe steel blue is nice, but mine is so dull because of age, it is hard to see what it could look like.
Does anyone know what two-tone color combinations were available, or look good with steel blue? I am not changing the interior...it is in good shape. Or other colors where an interior in light blue looks good. I am hoping someone has some pictures of color options I could choose from. Thanks!

Even a color chart of what colors were available in that year.

You need to find the paint codes for your car. I am almost certain the Clouds have a small plate in the engine bay somewhere that tells you what the original colors were. The RROC-Australia Post-War Technical Library contains a document with the Paint Codes for Postwar Vehicles - 1946 to 1999 and Steel Blue is listed. Marinus Rijkers' Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow site shows most of the color combinations that were used in that era and there were very few changes from the Cloud era with regard to two-tone cars. I have a Silver Wraith II in Silver Mink over Seychelles Blue that would look good with either a light blue or dark blue interior. I was going to try to attach the Ditzler color chart for the Cloud era cars but something has gone horribly wrong with the forum software this morning all of a sudden. Logging out and logging back in did nothing.

Thank you. I have no paperwork on the 1964 models, so I wasn't even sure what colors were available for that year. Appreciate your input!

I love this combination.

Perhaps not for the purist. Shadow or Spirit colours I think.

Somebody who wanted the car sprayed in colours that made him happy, not an archivist who didn't own it happy.

It always gets very appreciative comments.

Hello All,

I wanted to be certain that the original Ditzler Color Codes document for the Cloud/S era cars got posted on this thread.

The site is still giving me fits, even under Microsoft Edge where I have no add-ons of any sort installed, and I could not attach the file so the link above will get you to a copy that's on my Google Drive.

I'll probably be sitting things out for a while or at least be in lurk mode until/unless whatever it is that's going on stops going on with the forums software. It's just entirely too frustrating to deal with and frustration with what's typically been pretty much a pleasure isn't my idea of how I'd like to spend my time.
